Sustainable House Gockhausen
Gockhausen, Switzerland, 2025-2026
This single-family house in Gockhausen explores a contemporary approach to sustainable living. A compact volume with a folded metal roof creates a unified architectural envelope that enhances energy efficiency while giving the house a clear and distinctive identity.
Large openings connect the interior with the garden and allow generous natural light, while a central green patio brings daylight and ventilation into the heart of the plan. The combination of metal cladding, brick, and timber balances durability with warmth.
High-performance insulation, efficient glazing, and a sustainable construction system ensure low energy consumption and long-term environmental responsibility. The project demonstrates how sustainability and architectural clarity can coexist in a calm and timeless residential design.
