Sun Valley Masterplan

Acquarossa, Ticino, Switzerland, 2018-2019

 

Situated in the alpine landscape of Ticino, this mixed-use urban proposal combines residential and hospitality programs with the aim of reactivating and revalorizing the region. The project creates a new centrality that connects housing, hotel facilities, commercial spaces and public amenities within a coherent landscape strategy.

 

The volumes are carefully positioned to integrate with the topography and to preserve visual connections towards the mountains and the river. Public spaces — plazas, pedestrian paths and green areas — structure the masterplan and encourage social interaction while strengthening the identity of the place.

 

The development seeks to generate long-term economic and social value, positioning Acquarossa as a sustainable destination where living, tourism and nature coexist in balance.
